Seriously!?!? There is no reason for him to get the Nobel peace prize! All he did was get elected President of a country that essentially hated the other party!!! I’m not saying that he didn’t run an impressive campaign, especially the financing, BUT the Nobel Peace Prize? NO! Give it to some scientist who figured out how to make candy from … air or something like that! The only great thing that Obama has done yet is that now I can say “Hey, I voted for Obama” the next time I’m accused of being a racist!!! … You know … at least that is pretty cool.
I just had some thoughts regarding the whole Obama vs Healthcare calamity. I work in Healthcare and I know exactly what is wrong with it. The thing is, it’s been wrong for a couple of decades and nobody has done anything about it. Any situation that stays unsolved for decades, the federal government will eventually get involved. “Why,” you might ask, because nobody else has been able to “fix” it. State governments couldn’t/wouldn’t/didn’t fix it. Insurance companies couldn’t/wouldn’t/didn’t fix it. Physicians & other health-care workers couldn’t/wouldn’t/didn’t fix it. Even the patients themselves couldn’t/wouldn’t/didn’t fix it. That means it’s time for the federal government to pick up the peices and try to make it work. Of course, they will always fail at least two to three times before it actually works.
Now, stop whining! You had your chance to fix it and you didn’t. Now it’s time for the big boys (and girls) to try what you weren’t willing to. I’m no lover of federal government but it has it’s place. It should be the last and final option for any problem in my opinion, but that’s why it’s there! That’s just the way it works … mostly.
I just checked my Inbox today and saw that I had 81 emails from this site from spammers posting comments. Ha! That’s awesome … in a terrible kind of way, of course. Maybe spammers just like tacos … like me! In any case, I decided to stop receiving e-mails whenever someone posts a comment. Now I’ll just wait until GoDaddy calls me and says my free storage space is full.
I haven’t updated this in a year and three months. Gotta love “free” hosting.
AND LOOK at all those comments. Actually DON’T! It’s all spam.
I’m amazed at how much is there. If I keep it going, I might get a bill for all the bandwidth the spammers are using posting comments on this site. :0 Maybe they keep buying stuff from each other … hmmm… In any case, just created a Twitter account: “tacosruledotcom” as tacosrule was already taken. :’( Snooze you loose, I guess. In any case, I might start updating that and might finally buy some real hosting to get this site off the ground. I still want to do something with it and I can’t bring myself to let go of the domain name. Stay tuned … or not! I have no idea!
with this site. It may take a while, but it very much involves tacos and how they do, in fact, RULE! For now you’ll just have to live with random garbage that flows from my fingers when I get around to it. I may have to force myself to sit down and type something here at least once a week.

Just so you know how cool I am, I completed RockBand on easy yesterday. Oh Yea, I’m so cool … NOT!
Friggin awesome song = “Brainpower” by Freezepop! Hilarious lyrics!
BUT also intriguing. There apparently is a service called WOWIO that provides “free” access to books and maybe some other media. You only get three free per day and a max of 30 per month. Supposedly it is all designed to allow companies to “sponsor” your free books in order to get demographic information like hobbies, interests, etc. from certain markets. Interesting idea. The only problem I had with it is that it takes a Credit Card (for authentication only, supposedly) and a short survey to be able to get a “free” account. There are prices listed but all that I’ve found shows “FREE.” I guess they set them selves up to eventually sell them as well. I’ll have to wait and see if I notice any new charges on my CC bill. :\

Anyway, I found a cool web comic, but apparently it was also published at one point. I’m downloading some of the “Animated” issues. It’s “The Dreamland Chronicles” by Scott Christian Sava. Cool 3D comic, and nicely done. On further reading, it looks like he could easily translate the world he created into one of those “free” online worlds that are relatively popular at the moment. Supported by ads, of course. Hmmm, interesting thought indeed. …

And lastly, check out Celsias. They “sponsored” one of my downloaded books. However, I never heard of them so I checked them out. Very cool, if your into tree huggin and stuff. Still, a neat idea.
I just started a blog and am already not updating it … WAIT! I just did! Success! WOOHOO!
I spend all night playing Rock Band and got woken up because I’m “on call” for work and we have a problem that involves me answering pages and having to tell people, “We are aware of the issue, and are working on a solution. etc. etc. …” DAMN YOU MURPHY, DAMN YOU!
SO! I decided to start a blog. … yay …
Who am I?
Who cares!
I just grabbed this domain when I first saw Robot Chicken on AS about a year ago. (heh heh, tacos rule!) AND I’ve been sitting on it for that long. I didn’t want to loose it as it is a friggin awesome domain!
I finally decided to use it. I can’t promise much as I’ve never ran a blog before. I’m just gonna play it by ear! Let’s see how far it GOES!
